To the leaders of the youth of the Chabad* association in
Jerusalem, the holy city, may Hashem* grant you long life,
I bless you and greet you,
I have duly received the letters from the election committee and from the elder Chassidim*, which informed me and gave the names of those elected.
A duty has therefore been entrusted to you, among the Chassidim*, and may Hashem* grant that you become aware of this great responsibility and the merit that accompanies it. This will awaken your deep inner powers, so that you assume your appointment with sincerity, attain success among the Chassidim* and all the children of Israel, and spread the wellsprings until they reach the outside.
And the assurance has been given to us that with the proper effort, one will know, in this matter, tremendous success.
We have also received the promise that this sacred mission will increase the blessings of Hashem* and the success of each individual in his personal concerns.
With my blessing of success in all that has been said,

מאשר הנני קבלת המכתבים מועד הבחירות וזקני אנ"ש, ובהם הידיעות ושמות הנבחרים.
ויהי רצון אשר כיון שנתמנו ראשים בתוככי אנ"ש והחסידים, יכירו האחריות הכי גדולה והזכות ההולכת אתה יחד, וזה יעורר כחותיהם הפנימיים, לעבוד במינוי זה אליבא דנפשי' בכוונה להצלחת תפקידם בתוך כלל אנ"ש וכלל בני ישראל, להפיץ המעיינות עד שיגיעו חוצה.
וכבר הובטחנו אשר בהשתדלות המתאימה יצליחו בזה בהצלחה מופלגה.
והובטחנו גם כן אשר עבודתם בקדש זו תוסיף בברכת השם יתברך והצלחתו בעניניהם הפרטים של כל אחד ואחד.
