Greetings and blessings,
I am responding to your letter requesting a blessing, in which you tell me that you do not have the desire to study our holy Torah*, the Torah* of life.
I have written to several people who find themselves in the same situation that our Sages themselves provide the answer to this question. They say, indeed: "One who says he did not make an effort and yet succeeded — do not believe him; one who says he made efforts and yet did not succeed — do not believe him." Moreover, the Sages have given the assurance that "one who sanctifies himself slightly here below is greatly sanctified from Above."
As you request, your name and that of your sister will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us. The more you engage in Torah* and mitzvos*, the more you will increase the blessing of Hashem for all of this.
With blessing to study Torah* with the fear of Hashem,

במענה על מכתבו פ"נ, בו כותב אודות חשק ללימוד תורתנו הק' תורת חיים.
הנה כתבתי לכו"כ בכגון דא, אשר מלתם אמורה בהוראת רז"ל, לא יגעת ומצאת אל תאמין, יגעת ולא מצאת אל תאמין ונוסף על זה הבטיחו רז"ל אדם מקדש עצמו מעט מלמטה מקדשין אותו הרבה מלמעלה.
כבקשתו יזכירוהו וכן את אחותו... תחי' על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, וככל שיוסיף הוא בתורה ומצות יתוסף גם כן בברכת השם יתברך בכל האמור.
