Rav Avraham (Rav A. Pariz of Petach Tikvah*; see letter no. 3051),
Greetings and blessings,
I am responding to your letter of 29 Teves* and to the four preceding ones. You tell me that you distributed the Chanukah* money to the students in my name, and I am pleased by this. Above all, you delivered words of encouragement before them. May Hashem grant that they produce their effect, conveying a Chassidic message for daily life.
No doubt you are making all the necessary preparations for the day of the Hilloula* (of the Frierdiker Rebbe*, on 10 Shevat*), which is approaching. You will let me know, with all the relevant details.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ט טבת וארבע הקודמים לו. נהניתי מה שכותב אודות חלוקת דמי חנוכה לתלמידים בשמי, והעיקר אשר דבר לפניהם דברי התעוררות, ויהי רצון אשר כל הדברים יפעלו פעולתם בבכן חסידותי ובחיים היום יומים.
בודאי עושים הכנות הדרושות ליום ההילולא הבע"ל, ויודיע עד"ז בפרטיות הדרושה...
