Blessings and greetings,

I have received your letter, with its enclosure. Your name will be mentioned, at a propitious time, at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, so that your state of health may improve.

You surely listen to the Kiddush* and Havdalah* and taste the wine of Kiddush*. In accordance with Jewish custom, you dip your fingers in the wine remaining from the Havdalah* and pass them over your eyes — superficially, of course.

According to what is stated in the sacred books, such a practice is propitious for obtaining the light of the eyes. May Hashem* grant you success.
