Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 4 Teves*, regarding the property of the Tidchatz* association.

If you believe it is possible to gather students in order to found a yeshivah* also in Tel Aviv*, that you will be able to raise at least the greater part of the necessary funds for its construction, and that one can ensure through a notarized document that no difficulty will arise, Heaven forbid, from the fact that this property has two owners — then this proposal is indeed wise.

The expansion of the yeshivah* in Lod* is indispensable, according to what you write and the information I obtain from other sources. One must therefore consider transferring it, at least for the most part, to the new village (Kfar Chabad*). I am surprised that you did not make this proposal yourselves. It seems that you have not explored this possibility.

For various reasons, it is good to consolidate the essential Chabad* educational institutions in one place or, at the very least, in two nearby locations. This will also enable the application of the principle that "the candle that illuminates one person illuminates a hundred" — that is, centralizing certain functions and thereby achieving economies.

במענה על מכתבם מד' טבת בהנוגע להחלקה של חברת תדח"ץ -

הנה מובן שאם לפ"ד אפשר יהי' להשיג תלמידים גם לישיבה בתל אביב, ואפשר יהי' להשיג - עכ"פ חלק חשוב - מאמצעים הדרושים לבני', ואפשר להבטיח ע"י עו"ד, שלא יהי' ח"ו עגמ"נ ממה שנרשמה החלקה על שני שמות, נכונה ההצעה.

אף כי בנוגע להרחבת ישיבת תו"ת דלוד (המוכרחת כפי כתבם, וכן ע"פ הידיעות שמתקבלות מן הצד), הנה יש להתענין בהעברתה - עכ"פ חלק חשוב ממנה - לכפר החדש. ולפלא שלא הציעו את זה מצד עצמם. וכנראה שלא התענינו לברר את האפשריות בזה. כי מובן שמכמה טעמים יש לרכז מוסדות חינוך דחב"ד הראשיים במקום אחד או עכ"פ במקומות סמוכים אחד להשני. ובפרט שכמה ענינים בזה שהם בגדר נר לאחד נר למאה...
