For a certain reason, the dispatch of the mail was delayed and, in the meantime, I received your letters. I do not understand why, once again, you are panicked about your state of health.
I have already said on numerous occasions, and I have even written to you clearly my opinion on this subject. I emphasized that you must completely cease thinking about your health, for, thank Hashem*, you are well. Nevertheless, you should follow all the prescriptions of the doctors.
Yet I observe that while being here, you adopted, on two occasions, the opposite of this attitude. On the one hand, you sank into melancholy without reason, and you firmly refused to eat and drink in an orderly manner, without there being the slightest logical explanation for this. And it seems that you still maintain the same behavior.
What is the point of writing to me yet again, when you maintain the opposite approach? Everything depends solely on your own good will!

מהסיבה נתעכב שילוח המכתבים, ובנתיים הגיעו מכתביו... ואיני מבין מהי עוה"פ הבהלה ע"ד בריאותו. וכבר אמרתי, וגם כתבתי לו, כ"פ דעתי ברורה בזה. וגם הדגשתי שלדעתי יסיח דעתו לגמרי ממח' ע"ד בריאותו, כי בריא הוא בעזהי"ת, אבל ימלא כל הוראות הרופאים בהנוגע למעשה, ושרואה אני שאפילו בהיותו כאן עשה להיפך בשני הענינים: התעמק במ"ש שאין להם כל יסוד (מבלי טעם ע"ז), ובשו"א לא רצה לשמור סדרי אכו"ש וכו'. (ג"כ מבלי שום טעם שכלי בזה). וכנראה גם עתה מחזיק בהנהגתו זו.
ומה תועיל כתיבתי עוה"פ אז ער וויל דוקא פארקערט? והדבר תלוי רק ברצונו הטוב.
