I have received your letter from the beginning of the month of Kislev*, the month of redemption*. I learned with pleasure of the activities you have carried out since your last letter, and above all that they are expanding and developing. Without a doubt, the same will continue in the future, and Hashem* will grant you success.

You discuss the establishment of a kindergarten in a transit camp. In general, this is a good initiative, but one must take care not to create unfair competition with the Orthodox kindergarten that is nearby. True, according to halachah*, such a concept does not exist regarding education. Nevertheless, it could result in a competition that would not be positive and in political intervention in the matter. You can surely verify whether such a risk exists and make a decision accordingly.

You are considering the possibility of joining an existing group for visiting the sick. Subsequently, when you actually begin the work, this group could bear your name.

It is clear that the objective of your association is not to annex such groups so that they bear your name, but rather to fulfill the sacred mission entrusted to you, especially in areas that others do not address, or do not address properly, or even address imperfectly.

For the time being, this group exists and has the means to sustain itself in the future. It is therefore preferable that you devote your time and energy to other areas where they will be more needed.

No doubt you will tell me, with all the necessary details, how you took advantage of the month of Kislev* and what activities you carried out. I thank you in advance.

מאשרים קבלת מכתבן מתחלת חדש כסלו, הוא חדש הגאולה, ונעם לקרות בו אודות פעולותיהן במשך הזמן מעת מכתבן האחרון, והעיקר אשר הולכות הפעולות מתרחבות ומתפשטות, ובודאי גם בעתיד יעשו ככה, והשי"ת יצליחן.

במה שכותבות אודות יסוד גן במעברה, הנה אף כי בכלל נכון הדבר, אבל יש להזהר בזה מעניני השגת גבול גן חרדי הנמצא בקירוב מקום, ואף כי על פי דין בעניני חינוך אין הענין דהשגת גבול, יש חשש דהתחרות בלתי רצוי' כניסה בפוליטיקה וכו', ובודאי יוכלו לברר אם יש יסוד לחשש זה ובהתאם להבירור תחליטנה.

במ"ש אשר ישנה הצעה שיכנסו לחברת בקור חולים הקיימת מכבר, ויש סברא שבמשך הזמן לאחרי שיכנסו בעובי הקורה, יעבירו על שמן.

הנה מובן שלא זהו מטרת ארגונן לרכוש ולכבוש חברות על שמן, כי אם לעבוד עבודתן בקדש, ובפרט בענינים שאין אחרים מטפלים בהם או שמטפלים שלא כדבעי או אפילו שלא ככל הדרוש, וכיון שחברה הנ"ל קיימת ויש בידה להתקיים גם להבא, כדאי יותר שינצלו זמנם ומרצם בשטחים אחרים מתאימים.

בטח יודיעו בפרטיות המתאימה אודות אופן הניצול של ימי חדש כסלו ושטח עבודתן, ות"ח מראש.
