Greetings and blessings,

I received, in its time, your letter, with the request for a blessing that it contained. During the month of Tishrei*, time does not permit me to respond, except to the most pressing questions. You will no doubt tell me, at the next opportunity, how you have organized yourself for the new year and, in particular, how you study the Torah* in a fixed manner, with ardor and perseverance. You will do so, at the very least, in the future.

You know the ruling of our Torah*, the Torah* of life, according to which the mind rules the heart in a natural and innate manner. And nothing withstands the will. If you take the firm decision to live in conformity with your origins, it is certain that your effort will be crowned with increased success and that you will know a tremendous elevation in the study of Torah* and the practice of mitzvos*. The merit of your ancestors will come to your aid.

In expectation of good tidings regarding all of this, as soon as possible.

וכבר ידוע פסק תורתנו תורת חיים, אשר בטבע האדם ותולדתו המוח שליט על הלב, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון, וכשיחליט בתוקף שעליו להיות כמתאים לצור מחצבתו, בודאי תושפע תוספת הצלחה ביגיעתו ובעילוי למעלה בלימוד התורה ובקיום המצות וזכות אבותיו מסייעתו.
