Greetings and blessings,

I wrote to you about Tarbitz, and I was referring to all the pamphlets (published by this association in Eretz Yisrael*) that you could obtain, for there are none in the library. You tell me that you will search for the other books in the stores and send the information here. It is clear that my intention was not to purchase these books for the library's account, but rather to arrange an exchange (with books published by Kehot* editions).

You are no doubt making the necessary preparations for the days of Yud-Tes Kislev* and Chanukah*. It is surely unnecessary to say more, so self-evident is this.

All the other points will be addressed in my next letter.

...מה שכתבתי אודות תרביץ - הכוונה לכל החוברות אשר אפשר להשיגם, כי בהספרי' אינם כלל. מה שכותב ששאר הספרים יחפשו בחנויות ויודיע לכאן, הנה פשיטא שאין הכוונה שיקנו הספרים ע"ח הספרי' דכאן, כי אין כאן קרן לכגון דא, והרי המדובר הוא שיהי' באופן דחליפין.

בודאי עושים הכנות הדרושות לימי י"ט כסלו וחנוכה הבע"ל, והאריכות בדבר הפשוט אך למותר.
