Greetings and blessings,

I have finally received your letter of 24 Cheshvan, which followed a very long silence, to which you do not even allude.

You have no doubt begun the preparations for Chanukah* (within the framework of Beis Rivkah*), which is approaching — internally, for the students, and also directed outward (toward the parents, in this case). The practice was, indeed, to organize a public celebration to which the parents of students are invited.

This will surely be the case this year as well. Moreover, one ascends in the domain of holiness. May Hashem grant you success.

לאחרי שתיקתו הארוכה נתקבל סו"ס מכתבו מכ"ד חשון, ואף שאינו מזכיר עד"ז, הנה בטח התחילו בהכנות לימי חנוכה הבע"ל, הן כלפי פנים בשביל התלמידות וגם כלפי חוץ, כפי המנהג שהיו עורכים איזה ענין של פומבי, מזמינים ההורים של התלמידות וכו', שבטח גם בשנה זו אל יחסר המזג ואדרבה יעלו בקדש והשי"ת יצליחם.
