To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav Zussya (Rav Z. Vilimovski),

Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter, which you began writing at the conclusion of Shabbos Bereishis*. Likewise, I have duly received your letter from Chol HaMoed Sukkos*.

I thank you very much for describing what concerns the Kfar (Kfar Chabad*), even if you do not yet do so with the precision that would be necessary. As I have already written, the more details one provides in this regard, the better. May Hashem grant that you do so, at least in the future. I thank you in advance.

You envision various possibilities concerning your activity. I have already written to you my opinion on this point. Each person receives a mission that is essential, and everything else has meaning only insofar as it does not counteract it. Now, you have the responsibility of book distribution, which requires much strength and determination. Indeed, this distribution is, for the time being, far from sufficient. You must therefore set aside everything that disturbs it.

As you request, I will mention all those whom you cite at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe [the Frierdiker Rebbe*], whose merit protects us, so that they may obtain the satisfaction of their needs, as you write.

You surely maintain an epistolary connection with those whom you met during miluim* (army reserve duty). Indeed, who knows? Perhaps this is one of the essential reasons you were sent there. You were meant to awaken and ignite in these people the point of Yiddishkeit* that each person possesses within.

You will surely share more details about the Chassidic gathering* of Shabbos Parshas Noach*. Above all, were any changes noted, and if so, in what domains?

You tell me that your daughter refuses to eat. It would be good to consult a doctor, a pediatrician, who will tell you what to give her to stimulate her appetite. Perhaps certain elements are lacking in her food and drink. That is why she lacks appetite.

May Hashem grant that you raise her to Torah*, to the marriage canopy, and to good deeds, so that she be a fine Jewish girl.

The dispatch of this letter was delayed, and in the meantime I received your letters of 7 Marcheshvan, of Sunday, and of the conclusion of Shabbos Parshas Lech Lecha*. I thank all those who write in detail about what concerns the Kfar (Kfar Chabad*).

Indeed, this is very important and arouses great interest, far beyond what the inhabitants of Kfar Chabad* can imagine.

במענה על מכתבו שהתחיל לכתבו מוצש"ק בראשית, כן מאשר קבלת מכתבו מחוהמ"ס.

הנה ת"ח ת"ח על כתבו ע"ד עניני הכפר וכו', אף שגם עתה לא בפרטיות הדרושה, וכמו שכתבתי מכבר שכל המפרט בכגון דא ה"ז משובח, ויה"ר שעכ"פ מכאן ולהבא יעשה כזה, ול"ח מראש.

במ"ש אודות סברות שונות בהתעסקותו, כבר כתבתי לו דעתי בזה, שלכל אחד יש ענין עיקרי ושאר הענינים יש להם מקום באם אין מפריעים להעיקר, וכיון שהפצת הספרים על שכמו הוא, ודרושה בזה תוספת כח ואומץ, כי חסר הרבה בהפצה דעד עתה, הנה מובן שכל ענין שיפריע בזה אין להתעסק בו.

כבקשתו אזכיר את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע - להמצטרך להם כפי כתבו.

בטח ממשיך בקישור מכתבים עם אלו שנפגש עמהם בעת שירותו במילואם, כי אין אתנו יודע עד מה, ואפשר זוהי אחת מתכליות העיקריות במה שנשלחו שם כדי לעורר בהם ולהלהיב את נקודת היהדות שישנה בכל אחד ואחד מישראל...

בטח יודיע יותר פרטים אודות ההתועדות דשבת פ' נח. והעיקר אם יש איזה שינוי בפועל , ובאיזה ענינים עי"ז.

מ"ש שבתם תחי' אינה רוצה לאכול, כדאי הי' לשאול רופא, רופא ילדים, ע"ד הסממנים שנותנים בשביל האפעטיט, והרי אפשר שחסר איזה דברים בהמאכלים ומשקים שנותנים לה, וזה סיבת חוסר התאבון שלה.

והשי"ת יצליחם לגדלה לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים, און זי זאל א חסידישע טאכטער.
