Greetings and blessings,

You mention your disagreements with certain individuals (presumably within the administration of a school). Now, one can observe that in such cases, one achieves success by paying no attention to them — that is, by acting as if one sees nothing. It is thus that the words of the verse are fulfilled: "As the face is reflected in water" (so that the other person adopts the same attitude).

May Hashem grant that this be so as soon as possible. If peace is strengthened, the blessing and success from Hashem will increase. Indeed, the Mishnah* states that "the Holy One, blessed be He, found no vessel to contain blessing other than peace."

Needless to say, it is appropriate to increase the number of students rather than to reduce the hours (of study, due to insufficient enrollment).

You say that the teachers should supervise the students during meals. This proposal is very judicious and even quite necessary. Indeed, many Jewish customs and laws regulate conduct during meals. It is moreover indispensable to teach them proper table manners.

I send you my blessing for considerable success in increasing the number of your good students, and that your efforts be crowned with success, in good health, while also experiencing satisfaction in your personal concerns.

מ"ש שישגיחו המורים-ות על התלמידים-ות בעת האכילה, נכון וגם מוכרח הוא למאד, כיון שבכמה מנהגי וגם דיני ישראל נוגעת ההנהגה בעת האכילה נוסף על הלכות דרך ארץ.
