Greetings and blessings,
I am surprised that you do not say a word in your letter about the beginning of the school year, about the number and the quality of the students this year. In the end, that is indeed the profound objective of the Yeshivah*.
As you know, our Sages* teach, in Tractate* Ketubot* 112a, that "the hide of the deer contracts after the animal has been skinned." Thus, the more one grows profoundly, the more the hide stretches superficially — that is, in all the domains you mention in your letter.
With my blessing that you give good news, that you experience success in your sacred mission with joy, that you be inscribed and sealed for a good year, and in anticipation of your good news,

... לפלא שאינו מזכיר במכתבו אף מלה בנוגע להתחלת זמן הלימודים כמות ואיכות התלמידים לזמן לימודים זה וכו' שהרי סוכ"ס זהו התוכן הפנימי והעיקרי של ישיבה, וכבר ידוע מרז"ל אשר מה צבי כו' (סוף כתובות קיב, א) שהעור כווץ וגומד לאחר הפשטו, שמזה מובן שכל שמגדלים בפנימית מתגדל ומתפשט העור והחיצוניות היינו בכל הענינים אודותם כותבים במכתבם.
