To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem*,
Rav D.[1],
I greet you and bless you,
I have duly received your letter of 17 Sivan* and I reply:
A) We have received in total 1,639 volumes 2 of the Sifraynu*, 1,016 volumes 4, 660 Tanya*, 65 Sefer HaSichot*, 52 volumes 1 of the Sifraynu*, 5 Poke'ach Ivrim*, 5 Sefer HaMaamarim*. We are in great need of volumes 1 of the Sifraynu*. Likewise, send us a copy of everything newly printed, whether a full book or a booklet, including before binding.
B) It is quite clear that in the Likkutei Torah* one must write: 'Third palace[2], fourth gate[3].'
C) Accounting for all discounts, you will sell in your region the Shulchan Aruch* and the Likkutei Torah* for two and a half shekels*, and the Torah Or* and the Piskei Dinim* for one and a half shekels*.
D) In the notes of the second volume of the Piskei Dinim*, the following note must be added on page 38c (the first one, since in the second volume there are two page 1s): 'In manuscript no. 1211, on the twelfth line, after the word Leshalem, one finds: The Beit Chadash* and the Dricha* cite a proof for the Tur*, based on the explanation of the Tosafot*, on page 41b. However, this proof from the Tosafot* can be refuted (...).'
E) A quick printing of the Piskei Dinim* is desired here, as a donor has been designated.
F) Enclosed is the booklet published for 12 Tammuz* and a letter for the yeshiva* students.
Please confirm receipt of this letter by return and kindly answer all the questions posed.

ד) לאחרי כל ההנחות יוכל לימכר באיזורים השו"ע ולקו"ת בעד ב' וחצי תרמכן.
