Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 29 Tammuz. In accordance with your request, the names of all those you mention will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us.

You mention the old village (the first settlement of Kfar Chabad*). Now, I have already written to several Chassidim* that it is important to ensure that this village and the new one be united, so that no dwellings remain unoccupied (see Letter #3498). It is practically impossible that it should be otherwise.

Those who reside in both locations should conduct themselves in a manner befitting inhabitants of Kfar Chabad*. Based on the responses I have received, I hope that action will indeed be taken in this direction, with all the necessary energy. The success will then be assured.

You mention an intervention carried out here regarding the share allotted to a certain person, or the distribution of these shares. However, it is difficult to give instructions from a distance, especially when harm could result for other people, since the number of these shares is limited. This is precisely why a village council, an emanation of the community, was elected.

You surely maintain the three studies that concern every individual, instituted by my father-in-law, the Rebbe*. They consist of the Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya* and are well known. And you surely take part in the public classes. Hashem will grant you success.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ט תמוז. כבקשתו יזכירו את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.

ומה שכותב אודות כפר הישן, הנה כבר כתבתי לכמה מאנ"ש אשר נחוצה

ההשתדלות וכמעט אי אפשר בלאו הכי שיתאחדו כפר הישן וכפר החדש גם יחד מבלי שישארו דירות פנויות, ושיהיו הדרים הן בכפר החדש והן בכפר הישן כפי שצריכים להיות דרי כפר חב"ד וכפי המענה שקבלתי תקותי שעשו בזה במרץ המתאים, ובמילא יהי' בהצלחה.

להתערב מכאן בהנוגע לחלקה שנוגע לפב"פ או בענין הקצת חלקה וכיו"ב, הרי קשה הדבר לתת הוראות בריחוק מקום, ובפרט כשהוא במקום שחב לאחרים, כיון שמספר החלקות מצומצם, ולענינים כמו אלו נבחר ועד הכפר שהוא ב"כ הרבים .

בטח שומר שלשת השיעורים השוים לכל נפש מתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בחומש תהלים ותניא הידועים, ומשתתף בשיעורים הנלמדים ברבים, והשי"ת יצליחו.
