Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letter of Rosh Chodesh* Menachem Av, written in an extremely concise manner. It concerned your activities in general and the festival of liberation of 12-13 Tammuz in particular. I am profoundly surprised by this brevity (see the beginning of the previous letter).

I was particularly pleased to learn that a class has been entrusted to the young Yitzchak Yadgar (currently an emissary of the Rebbe* in Taanach*, in the Holy Land). No doubt such activities will be expanded, in accordance with what is stated in the excerpt of my letter regarding actions to be undertaken during the vacation.

One hundred lirot*, drawn from a specific fund, will therefore be devoted to this activity. In addition, another one hundred lirot* will be given as a contribution to similar activities conducted during the vacation period, and a further one hundred to take part in the accomplishments of 18 Elul*, in particular the study day for soldiers.

With my blessing for giving good news — which should be detailed — about what is happening in the domain of Chabad* and, in particular, of the Chabad* youth association,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבם מר"ח מנ"א הכתוב בקיצור נמרץ ביותר בהנוגע לפעולותיהם בכלל ופעולותיהם בהנוגע לחג הגאולה י"ב וי"ג תמוז ביחוד וצע"ג לקיצור הנ"ל.

נהניתי ביותר ממ"ש אודות כתה שלומד עמה האברך יצחק ידגר שיחי', ובודאי ירחיבו בפעולות כאלו מתאים לקטע מכתבי אודות הפעולות דימי החופש, ובודאי יתנו להם מהקופה המיוחדת מאה לירה ע"ז, וכן מאה לירה בתור השתתפות בהוצאות פעולות דומות לזה למשך ימי החופש, ומאה לירה בתור השתתפות בהפעולות דח"י אלול, ומהם סידור יום העיון לחיילים.
