Greetings and blessings,
You tell me that you are confronted with the following alternative: to study in a synagogue composed of people who thirst for the word of Hashem, or in another, where it is still necessary to bring to light this deep desire — which every Jew necessarily feels — for the word of Hashem and for His Torah*.
You know the teaching of our Sages on this subject, according to which one should separate the grain from the chaff. Nevertheless, this question arises only before one has made one's choice. In your case, you have already begun to study in the first synagogue. You should therefore consult the Chassidim* who are on the spot, in order to determine what your attitude should be going forward — whether you should continue what you are presently doing, or whether it would be appropriate for you to change location.
