and devotes himself to communal needs,

Blessings and greetings,

I received your letter of 27 Tammuz* this morning, and I mentioned your name at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, so that you obtain what you requested. May Hashem grant that you give me good news on this matter — of a good that is visible and tangible.

The month of Av has a special quality in Chassidus*. Commenting on the well-known passage in chapter 22 of Iggeres HaKodesh*, page 134b, my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, specifies that the word "father" is used twice (see letter no. 3702 on this subject). He notes that regarding the one who likes to moralize, the term Chassid* does not appear. This is not the case, however, for the one who intercedes on behalf of others and asks that everything be revealed as a good that is visible and tangible. In that case, the designation of Chassid* is indeed mentioned.

I am sending you a pamphlet presenting the continuation of the description of the imprisonment, published on the occasion of the festival of the liberation — the 12th and 13th of Tammuz*, that of our deliverance and the freedom of our souls. You will surely make its content available to the greatest number. The merit of all depends on you.

היום בקר נתקבל מכתבו מכ"ז תמוז, והזכרתיו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להענינים האמורים בו, ויה"ר שיבשר טוב בהם ובטוב הנראה והנגלה. מעלה נוספת בחדש אב חסידי ע"י הגאולה, וכידוע דיוק כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר באגה"ק המפורסם סי' כ"ב (קל"ד ע"ב) שבשני האופנים כתב התואר אב ודייק אשר כשהוא ע"ד אוהבו שחרו מוסר לא נאמר התואר וחסיד, משא"כ כשמליץ יושר שיהי' דוקא בטוב הנראה והנגלה מוסיף גם תואר זה.

מוסג"פ חוברת המשך המאסר שהו"ל לימי הגאולה י"ב וי"ג תמוז, גאולתנו ופדות נפשינו, ובטח יזכה בתוכנו גם את הרבים וזכות הרבים תלוי בו.
