To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav D.[1],

I greet you and bless you,

I am replying to your letter:

A) For the first title page of Torah Or*[2], you will use the same as that of the edition we are reproducing. At the top, you will write: 'Treasures of Chabad Lubavitch* Chassidim.' Beneath this notation, a line, then in the center, on two lines: 'Collection of the chain of light.' On the right: 'Third Sanctuary*[3]' and on the left: 'third gate*[4].' Then the book's title through 'Parshat Vayakhel*,' a dash, and: 'Fourth edition,' then the Kehot* logo and 'published by... in New York,' as on the Shulchan Aruch's* title page.

My foreword will be printed on the verso. The second title page will be like the first. The title will conclude with: 'To the end of the book,' then a dash and: 'Fourth edition, published by... in New York,' as in the first.

On the verso and following, you will reproduce the edition we are reproducing. The addenda title page will be written as follows: 'Treasures... Third Sanctuary,' as seen above, then the title: 'Addenda... Rabbi Dov Ber,' a dash, 'published by... in New York,' as before. The verso will be a blank page. At the end of the book there will be the corrections table that you will find enclosed.

B) The first title page of Likkutei Torah* will be like that of Torah Or just described, except that it is the fourth Sanctuary and the seventh edition.

On the verso there will be my foreword.

The second title page will be the same. You will specify that this book is printed for the seventh time, and not the fifth. The same will apply to the title page of the volume commenting on Bamidbar*, Devarim*, and Shir HaShirim*. You will have the notes enclosed printed at the end of the entire series.

C) Rav N. Nemanov[5] has eight hundred shekels for the publications and you will tell him to whom to hand them. In addition, three hundred shekels have been handed over locally to one of your suppliers. You will have the necessary amount, I guarantee it.

D) What of the Siddur*, the Shulchan Aruch, the Ateret Rosh*, volume one of Sifraynu*? Nothing should any longer prevent their publication. Were they available, they would be of great spiritual benefit and could furthermore be sold in your regions, which would cover part of the debts and demonstrate vigorous activity.

E) In my humble opinion, you should seek assistance from someone who would devote himself primarily to distribution. I suggest Rav M. Teitelbaum[6].

F) You have surely received in due time the fascicle published on the occasion of Lag B'Omer* and the letter enclosed with it.

א) לתו"א שער הא' המשבצות כמו בהוצאה שממנה מדפיסים, למעלה ספרי' אוצר החסידים ליובאוויטש למטה מזה קו המפסיק באמצע ובשתי שורות קובץ שלשלת האור מימין היכל שלישי משמאל שער שלישי, אח"כ ספר תורה (עד) בפרשת ויקהל אח"כ קו מפסיק אח"כ הוצאה רביעית אח"כ חותם קה"ת אח"כ יוצא לאור... נ. י. (כמו שעשה בשער השו"ע).

מעל"ד הקדמתי, שער השני ספרי'... שלישי כנ"ל בשער הא'. אח"כ ספר... בסוף הספר אח"כ קו מפסיק אח"כ הוצאה רביעית... נ. י. כנ"ל בשער הא'.

מעל"ד ומשם ואילך כמו בספר שממנו מדפיס, שער חלק ההוספות: ספרי'... שלישי כנ"ל הוספות לספר... בער נ"ע אח"כ קו המפסיק אח"כ הוצאה שלישית אח"כ חותם קה"ת אח"כ יוצא... נ. י. כנ"ל מעל"ד פנוי. בסוף הספר - לוח התיקון המוסג"פ.

ב) לקו"ת שער הא' הכל ע"ד הנ"ל בתו"א אלא שבמקום היכל שלישי צ"ל היכל רביעי וצ"ל הוצאה שביעית.

מעל"ד הקדמתי.

שער השני הכל ע"ד הנ"ל אלא שבמקום נדפס פעם חמישית צ"ל נדפס פעם שביעית וככל זה צ"ל ג"כ בשער דס' במדבר דברים שה"ש. בסוף כל החלקים יבואו ההערות המוסג"פ.

ג) אצל הר"נ נעמענאוו מונח ת"ת תרמכן על ההדפסה ויורה להרנ"נ למי ליתנן מלבד זה שלמו ש' תרמכן לאחד מבע"ח שלו שם, ויהי' עוד כמה שיוצרך ואני אחראי.

ד) מה נשמע עם הסדור שו"ע עט"ר ש"א ספרנו ח"א, הלא בזה אין מניעות מהקדמות ואם היו נדפסים הנה מלבד תועלת הרוחניות יכול הי' למוכרם גם באיזורים ולסלק חלק מהחובות וזה יב"ח שמתעסקים בזה.

ה) לפענ"ד יצרף אליו עוד מי שהוא שעיקר עסקו יהי' בהפצה והנני להציע את הר"מ טייטעלבוים.

ו) הקונטרס לל"ג בעומר בטח קיבל במועדו עם המכ' המצורף אליו...
