To the directors of the Yeshivah* and the Talmud Torah*

of Sefarya, Kfar Chabad*, may Hashem grant you long life,

Blessings and greetings,

I am pleased that you have integrated new students who came from the schools of the network (Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch* in the Holy Land). You will surely redouble your ardor so that this continues in the future. For various reasons, it would be good to create a class reserved for such students.

It is presumably unnecessary to remind you of the need to have a specific program for the vacation period. And this must be prepared in advance. In accordance with the saying of our holy masters (see letter no. 3436): "Everything proceeds in the manner in which it was begun." And this applies to vacation activities as well.

For various reasons, it would be good that at Kfar Chabad*, studies be interrupted during the vacation for the shortest time possible, in accordance with what has always been the Jewish custom. For if such an attitude is positive in all cities and all villages, how much more so in a Chassidic* settlement.

... נהניתי ממה שקבלו עוד תלמידים מבתי ספר הרשת, ובדאי ישתדלו בזה להבא בתוספת אומץ, ומהנכון הי' שיעשו כתה קבועה בשביל סוג כזה ומכמה טעמים...

בודאי למותר לעוררם ע"ד תכנית מיוחדת לימי החופש שההכרח להכינה בעוד מועד, וכפתגם כ"ק רבוה"ק, אז ווי מען שטעלט זיך אוועק אזוי גייט דאס, וה"ה להנהגה דימי החופש, ובכפר חב"ד מכמה טעמים נכון לסדר שחופש יתבטא רק במיעוט ומינימלי של הלימודים, ותו לא, וכמנהג ישראל מאז ומקדם, ואם בכל הערים ובכל המושבות היתה הנהגה כזו כדאית, עאכו"כ במושב אנ"ש.
