Blessings and greetings,
It is surely unnecessary to remind you of what we discussed (see letters no. 2213 and 2965 on this subject) regarding North Africa (see letter no. 3653), two years ago. It would be good to search there for rare books or manuscripts found in the possession of those who inherited them, or in synagogues where no one uses them, in order to send them here.
If necessary, they can be exchanged for books published by Kehot* Press, which will present an additional advantage — that of placing Chassidus* books, at least a Siddur* or a Machzor*, in a given synagogue or with a given individual. I thank you in advance for what you may be able to do in this area.

... בודאי מותר לעוררו עוה"פ במה שנדבר אתו בנוגע לאפריקה לפני שנתים, שכדאי לחפש ספרים בלתי מצויים או גם כתבי יד המתגלגלים אצל יורשים או גם בבתי כנסיות כאבן שאין לו הופכים, ולשלחם לכאן. ובמקום הדרוש להחליף זה בספרי הוצאת קה"ת, שבזה גם תועלת נוספת שיהיו דברי חסידות עכ"פ סידור מחזור וכיו"ב בביהכ"נ פלוני או אצל איש פלוני, ות"ח מראש על הטרחה בזה.
