To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem

and devotes himself to communal needs,

Blessings and greetings,

I was pleased to receive the letter from the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav* Menachem Yisrael Melov (see the preceding letter), describing to me the ceremony of laying the cornerstone of the building (see letter no. 3548 and the preceding letter) of the Yeshivah* Achei Temimim* of Rishon LeTzion, on the land that you had the merit to acquire for this purpose.

It is, of course, unnecessary to remind you of the value and importance of what has been accomplished. Indeed, fruits and fruits of fruits will result from it, until the end of the world — in the most simple sense and also in the way it can be understood according to the explanations of Chassidus*. This is how one puts an end to the veil and the concealment.

You will no doubt also influence your friends and acquaintances so that they too participate financially in the construction of this building, beyond the current expenses. Our Sages* describe the importance of those who, in giving tzedakah*, act generously — for their own possessions and for those of their friends (leading them therefore to give tzedakah* themselves). May this merit protect you, as well as all the members of your family.

With my blessing for giving good news of all of this as soon as possible,

נעם לי לקבל מכתבו של הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ מוה"ר מנחם ישראל שי' מלוב, בו מתאר חגיגת ירית אבן הפנה של בנין ישיבת אחי תמימים בראשון לציון, על המגרש שזכה כבודו והצליח לקנותו בשביל הישיבה, ובודאי למותר להאריך בגודל הדבר וערכו, הנושא פירות ופירי פירות עד סוף העולם כפשוטו וכמשמעו המבואר בדא"ח עד שעושים סוף לההעלם וההסתר.

ובודאי ישפיע גם על ידידיו ומכיריו לקחת חלק בזה בהשתתפות בהוצאות הבנין, נוסף על השתתפותם בההוצאות השוטפות, וכבר הפליגו רז"ל בנותני צדקה שעינם טובה בשלהם ועינם טובה בשל אחרים, ויעמוד זכות הנ"ל לו ולכל ב"ב שיחיו...
