18 Tammuz* 5715

Blessings and greetings,

I have just received the copies of the discourse delivered on 20 Menachem Av* 5715 (by the Rebbe* himself, on the occasion of the yahrtzeit* of his father), and I thank you for them. I am astonished — and even very surprised — that the absence of review (by the Rebbe*, regarding notes written by those who were present when he delivered these words) was not indicated. First of all, few people know the meaning of the term Hanacha* (designating a text written by listeners but not reviewed by the Rebbe*; this term presumably appeared on the cover of this discourse). Furthermore, one might also imagine that a Hanacha* has indeed been reviewed, which is not the case here.

If you have other copies remaining, please rectify this imprecision.

We await good news. You will therefore tell me that you made proper use of the days of the liberation, the 12th and 13th of Tammuz*. May all of this continue throughout the rest of the year and have a concrete effect.

With my blessing,

On behalf of the Rebbe, shlita*,

the secretary,
