12 Iyar* 5708,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav I.[1],

I greet you and bless you,

I am replying to your letter of 23 Nissan*.

Enclosed you will find the fascicle published on the occasion of Lag B'Omer*, which has just been bound. Please make it available to as many people as possible, as you yourself note in your letter. You will also inform me of the organization of studies and your manner of exerting a positive influence on others in this area[2]. My father-in-law, the Rebbe* Shlita*, will be pleased.

I cannot know from here who leads each community[3] in this matter. But I presume that nothing negative will result from what is the concern of my father-in-law, the Rebbe Shlita. There will therefore be no friction from the fact that the fascicle is being sent to you.

I hope you remember the time we spent together in 5687[4], during a modest chassidic* gathering that took place in a corridor, what was said and the words concerning the red heifer.

May Hashem* cause us to feel, in our heart and in our physical flesh, what the Lag B'Omer* discourse printed in this fascicle says. One should therefore not be affected depending on whether one is above or below the wheel[5]. For we are rich and, those of us who belong to the community of Chassidim*, possess even eternal wealth.

אקוה שעדיין זוכר כשהיינו ביחד בשנת תרפ"ז בההתועדות בלי פרסום בהפרוזדור במאחאוואי את טענתו ודיבור בענין פרה אדומה.

ויה"ר שנרגיש בלב ובשר הגשמי את הכתוב בשיחת ל"ג בעומר שבקונטרס, שבין על הגלגל בין ח"ו תחתיו אין להתרגש ושעשירים אנו, חברי קהל עדת החסידים בפרט, בעשירות הנצחית.
