Blessings and greetings,
I am responding to your letter of 29 Sivan.
You note some variations in the Tanya*. Specifically, the word Eloka (a Name referring to Hashem) is written with a Hei (in its normal spelling) in the introduction, the first part, and the second part, whereas it is written with a Kuf (with a modified letter, so as not to pronounce the Name of Hashem unnecessarily) in Iggeres HaKodesh*.
The following two points would need to be verified:
A) One should read these books line by line, to ascertain that this is indeed the case.
B) It is additionally necessary to make a comparison with the early editions — in particular, those published during the lifetime of the Alter Rebbe* and in his vicinity — which excludes the Zolkwo edition.
It is only after these verifications that one will be able to answer these questions.

בהערתו שישנם שינוים בספר התניא לפעמים - בהקדמה ובחלק א' וב' כתוב אלקה בה"א ובאגה"ק בקו"ף.
יש לברר שני פרטים שם: א) לבדוק שורה אחר שורה בספרים הנ"ל ולראות א"כ הוא. ב) להשוות לדפוסים הראשונים, ובפרט לאלו שי"ל בחיים חיותו של רבנו הזקן בעלמא דין ובמקומות הסמוכים (לאפוקי דפוס זלקווא). ורק אחרי זה יש לבוא לידי איזה בירור בהנ"ל.
