Blessings and greetings,

After a very long interruption, I have finally received your letter, the delivery of which was somewhat delayed. I am surprised that the interval between two letters from you is so long. Sometimes, after writing a letter, you wait several weeks before sending it, as you yourself say in the present one.

You tell me that you sometimes feel coarse. In such a case, the best solution is to immerse oneself in the water of the Torah* — in general, and in that of Chassidus* in particular. One thereby receives elevation and refinement, even if one is not immediately aware of it. Indeed, Tevilah* (immersion) is an anagram of Bittul* (self-nullification).

I am surprised that the men do not help the women fulfill their sacred mission through the organization of Chabad* women and girls, even though the words of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us — demonstrating the importance of such an accomplishment — have been disseminated among the Chassidim* for a long time.

Certainly, the men must carry out what is entrusted to them, but our Sages* note that a woman is subject to the authority of her husband. May Hashem therefore grant that you use your authority in this domain and that you give me good news of all of this.

The Holy One, blessed be He, acts "measure for measure," but in a greatly increased manner. He will therefore multiply the Chassidic* satisfaction that you and your wife will derive from all your children.

לאחרי ההפסק הכי ארוך, הנה סו"ס נתקבל מכת ממנו - שנתאחר קצת בדרך הילוכו - ולפלא על שמפסיק כ"כ בין מכתב למכתב, ולפעמים גם לאחר שכותב הנה אינו שולחו עד לאחר כמה שבועות, וככתוב במכתבו זה.

ומ"ש שלפעמים מרגיש יותר מגושמ'דיק, עצה היעוצה בכגון דא להטביע זה (דערטרינקען) במים של תורה בכלל, ומים דתורת החסידות בפרט, שזה מברר ומזכך אפילו אם בשעת מעשה לא מרגישים, וכידוע אשר טבילה אותיות הביטל.

לפלא שאין האנשים עוזרים להנשים בעבודתן בקדש בארגון נשי ובנות חב"ד, למרות שכבר נתפרסם בתוככי אנ"ש זמן רב דברי כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע בגודל נחיצות עבודתן זו. ויה"ר שנוסף על עבודת האנשים בהשייך להם הרי ע"פ מרז"ל שהאשה היא ברשות בעלה, ינצלו מרות ורשות זה להאמור לעיל, ויה"ר שיבשר טוב בכל זה, ומדתו של הקב"ה מדה כנגד מדה, אלא שכ"פ ככה להרבות בנחת חסידותי שיקבל הוא וזוגתו שיחיו מכל יו"ח שיחיו.
