Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 12 Sivan*.

Your idea and reasoning, leading you to search for a match specifically in Morocco, are sound. You will therefore not hasten to settle in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt by our righteous Moshiach*.

One of the thirteen fundamental principles of our faith is indeed that of the coming of Moshiach*. We believe that he can come every day. Now, thousands and tens of thousands of righteous people await and desire his coming while being outside of Eretz Yisrael*. You can therefore join those who fear Hashem and serve Him outside of Eretz Yisrael*, by studying Torah* and practicing mitzvos* in the best way.

Moreover, the Almighty has granted you success and placed you in a ray of light, since you are engaged in drawing the hearts of Israel close to their Father in Heaven, by providing a good education to the children in Morocco. There is no more enviable lot.

You will therefore maintain the position you have held until now. Very soon and in our days, the divine promise will be fulfilled — our righteous redeemer will come and lead us, with heads held high, to our land, in the true and complete redemption.

במענה על מכתבו מי"ב סיון.

נכונה סברתו ודעתו לחזור אחר שידוך מתאים בשבילו דוקא במרוקה, ולא למהר לעלות לארנו הקדושה תבנה ותכונן על ידי משיח צדקנו, והרי אחד מהי"ג עיקרים של אמונתנו הוא האמונה בביאת משיח, שמאמינים אנו בכל יום שיבוא, ואם אלפים ורבבות מישראל מחכים ומצפים לביאתו בחוץ לארץ, הרי גם הוא יכול להכלל עם יראי ד' העובדים אותו בחוצה לארץ בלימוד התורה ובקיום המצות בהידור.

ובפרט שהצליחו השי"ת לעמוד בקרן אורה לקרב לבן של ישראל לאבינו שבשמים ע"י חינוך הכשר שאין לך חלק יפה מזה, ויעמוד על משמרתו בה עובד עתה, ובמהרה בימינו יקוים היעוד דביאת גואל צדק הואו יוליכנו קוממיות לארצנו בגאולה האמיתית והשלימה.
