Greetings and blessings,
You describe the situation of this man (who presumably requests the Rebbe's* blessing because he has no children), and I will therefore mention his name at a propitious moment at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us. Furthermore, his Tefillin* and the mezuzos* of his home should be checked to ensure that they are kosher, in accordance with Halachah*. He should also observe the laws of family purity, as our Torah*, the Torah of life, requires.
It should be ascertained that his marriage did not have the effect of humiliating a Jewish man or woman (with whom one or the other may have been previously engaged; see letter no. 3326), and that they (this man and his wife) do not have the habit of making oaths (from which one should abstain) — including about what is true, and a fortiori swearing on someone's life. It would be good for both of them to take an interest in values connected with love of one's fellow in general and hospitality in particular — by serving food and drink to guests. May Hashem answer their prayer and grant their request.
I send my blessing for success in your sacred mission of making your students into Chassidim* who fear Hashem and are Torah* scholars, and that you receive the Torah* with joy and in a profound manner.

בברכת הצלחה בעבודתו בקדש לפעול בתלמידיו שיהיו חסידים יראי שמים ולומדים ויזכה לקבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות.
