To the directors of the youth of the Chabad* Association in our Holy Land, the Tel Aviv* group, may Hashem grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

I am surprised that you have not written to me for a very long time. I will no doubt receive, in the coming days, your letter with all the necessary details, reporting on your activities — in particular what was accomplished during the month of Nissan* and on Lag BaOmer*, as well as your participation in the enrollments (of new students in the schools of the Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch network) and in the preparation of the vacations (summer camps organized for children).

I have duly received the two copies of the Bitaon* (the Bitaon Chabad, organ of the youth of the Chabad* Association). Its cover page, as it has been modified, seems to indicate that you have indeed obtained the necessary authorization for its publication, without it being limited to an internal organ (see letters no. 3059 and 3241). You will surely write to me soon on this point as well.

May Hashem grant that it be at a good and fruitful moment, that the Bitaon* succeed in becoming the channel spreading the inner dimension of the teaching of Chassidus*, its practices and customs, among your close surroundings and among those who, for the time being, are still distant.

You know the saying (see letter no. 1069) of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, that Pesach Sheini* teaches that one can always rectify — even if one is "impure" or "on a distant road," including "for you" — that is, of one's own volition.

The sending of this letter was delayed, and in the meantime I have just received your letter of 16 Iyar*.

לפלא שזה זמן ארוך ביותר שאין מהם כל מכתבים, ובודאי יתקבל ימים אלו מכתבם בפרטית המתאימה מפעולותיהם בכלל, ובנוגע להמפעלים דחדש ניסן ול"ג בעומר בפרט, וכן ע"ד השתתפותם בהרישום ההכנות לימי החופש וכו'.

מאשר קבלת שני טופסים של הבטאון, ונראה מהשער והשינוי שבו שהשיגו רשיון להופעתו, ולאו דוקא בתור פנימי, ובטח גם עד"ז יכתבו בקרוב. ויה"ר שיהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת ויצליח הבטאון להיות צנור דרך בו יבוא פנימיות תורת החסידות הדרכותי' ומנהגי', בסביבתם הקרובה וגם בסביבה שלע"ע עדיין איננה קרובה, וכידוע פתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, שהלימוד מפסח שני הוא שתמיד יש לתקן, ואפילו את זה שהי' טמא או בדרך רחוקה, ואפילו - לכם שעשה זה מרצונו.
