To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,
Rav D.(1),
I greet and bless you,
I reply to your letter of 9 Adar Sheni, briefly on account of Shabbat*:
A) My letter, together with the Purim* fascicle, has certainly reached you.
B) We have received here one thousand and ten copies of the second volume of Sifraynu*, but it is above all the first volume that is in demand.
C) My father-in-law, the Rebbe*, Shlit'a*, wishes to have the Sdei Chemed*(2) printed on the finest paper and with the most beautiful binding. Please make inquiries and inform me of the options and prices. The work runs to approximately four thousand five hundred pages and comprises eight volumes.
D) I will send you the preface in the coming days.
E) Enclosed herewith is the fascicle published for 2 Nissan*(3).

ה) מוסג"פ קונטרס לב' ניסן ובודאי יזכה בו את הרבים.
ו) אאשר קבלת העתק מכ' למהר"י דובאוו, וכבקשתו תקותי לבוא בהערות לפענ"ד כשאפנה במעט מטרדותי עתה.
