Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter from the conclusion of Shabbos* Acharei, in which you describe your journeys from Haditch*, the city where you were born, to the Holy Land. You tell me that you are currently a kashrus* supervisor in Netanya*.

You surely know what is said in many talks of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us: Memory must cause one to observe, as if living before one's eyes, the event that one remembers, and to have that event exert its effect. May the memory of these journeys — and particularly the recollection of the audience that the Rebbe*, the leader of Israel, granted you, which you describe — awaken and strengthen your deepest powers, so that all see in you a Chabad* Chassid*, in keeping with what our holy masters expected of their Chassidim* and their students.

One of the means of achieving such a result is intensive study of Chassidus*, the adoption of its customs and practices, and above all the dissemination of its teaching and its influence throughout one's surroundings. And "nothing stands in the way of the will."

I will read, at a propitious moment, the request for a blessing contained in your letter, at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us. May Hashem grant you the merit and success to give concrete good tidings of all this.

P.S.: You are no doubt aware of the three daily studies, applicable to everyone, that were instituted by my father-in-law, the Rebbe*. These deal with the Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya*. You surely observe them.

במעננה על מכתבו ממוצש"ק פ' אחרי, בו כותב אודות מסעיו מהאדיטש בו נולד עד לאה"ק ת"ו, ואשר עתה עוסק הוא בהשגחה על הכשרות בנתני'...

בודאי ידוע לו המבואר בכמה שיחות מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אש ענין הזכרון הוא, שהמעמד ומצב שנזכרים עליו, יעמד חי נגד עני בעל הזכרון ויפעול פעולתו, ויה"ר, שזכרון המסעות שלו, וביניהם היחידות שלו אצל כ"ק אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל שכותב אודותה, יעורר בו תוספת כחות פנימים, שכל רואיו יכירו שמחסידי חב"ד הוא, וכתקות רבוה"ק נשיאנו הק' בהחסידים שלהם והקושרים אליהם. אשר הדרכים להשיג את זה הוא, לימוד תורת החסידות בשופי, הליכה בדרכי' והנהגותי', והעיקר בהם הוא להפיץ מעניות תורת החסידות, והמעשה שלה בכל הסביבה, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון.

בעת רצון אקרא את הפ"נ המוסגר במכתבו, על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, והשי"ת יזכהו ויצליחו לבשר טוב בכל הנ"ל ובהנוגע לפועל.
