You tell me that your wife will consult a female doctor next week. She should ask her, if she performs an examination, not to do it in depth (see letter no. 3557). Indeed, this serves no purpose other than to obtain information (which has no bearing on the treatment, being purely informational).
It is therefore possible to be content with a superficial examination only.

...ובמ"ש שזוגתו תחי' תבקר אצל רופאה בשבעו הבע"ל, הרי בטח תבקש את הרופאה שאם רוצה לעשות בחינה לא תהי' זה בפנים, כיון שאין בזה תועלת אלא לידיעה, ויש להסתפק בבדיקת המ"ר וכיו"ב.
