Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 22 Nissan*, in which you indicate what the physician you consulted has recommended. He advises injections and has explained to you what effect they might have.

You should begin to concern yourself with all of this when you seek to marry. May Hashem grant you the merit and the success to redouble your diligence and ardor in the study of the revealed dimension of Torah* and, in particular, of Chassidus*, without introducing calculations, limits, and barriers. Acting in this way brings about the revelation of Divine Mercy, corresponding to the thirteen aspects of the beard, as explained in the commentaries of the Tzemach Tzedek* on the verse "He is merciful," which also appear in the addenda of the Tehillim Yohel Or*.

No doubt you endeavor, for your part, to exert a positive influence upon your brother regarding Torah* and mitzvos*. You should also intervene through friends and acquaintances. And you should do the same for your entire surroundings.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ב ניסן, בו כותב אודות חוות דעת הרופא שנמלך אתו שמייעצו לעשות זריקות ומפעולת הזריקות הוא גם כו'.

הנה יתחיל להתעסק בזה כשיתחיל להשתדל בעניני שידוכין, והשי"ת יזכהו ויצליחו להוסיף בהתמדה ושקידה בתורת הנגלה ובפרט בורת החסידות מבלי חשבונות ומדידות והגבלות שהנהגה כזו מעוררות מדות הרחמים דלמעלה י"ג תקוני דיקנא, וכמבואר גם בדרושי אדמו"ר הצמח צדק על הכתוב והוא רחום וגו' נדפס גם בהוספה לתהלים יהל אור.

בודאי ישתדל מדו וגם ע"י מכיריו ומיודעיו להשפיע על אחיו שי' בעניני התורה ומצות וכן בסביבתו.
