You write to me that your educational activity is fruitful, and I am gratified. No doubt you will not content yourself with your work in this domain, even if it is intense. You will also do everything in your power to spread Jewish values in every domain.

One of your primary objectives, in this regard, will be to appoint leaders from among those who are on site. Granted, they must be supervised until they become accustomed to such activity and demonstrate that they are trustworthy and responsible. They must receive frequent instructions.

Then, gradually, they will become familiar with the work and will improve. One can therefore hope that in the near term, they will be able to assist you. You will thus be like an effective teacher, guide, and educator who ensures that his student can continue his studies on his own — and beyond that, is in a position to transmit the teaching to others.

... נהניתי ממה שכובת שרואה סימן ברכה בעבודתו בחינוך, ובודאי לא יסתפק בעבודה במצוע זה אף כי רבה היא, אלא יעשה ככל יכולו בהפצת היהדות בשאר הענינים, וכגון דא הרי אחד מתפקידים הראשונים הוא להעמיד עסקנים בזה מבין אנשים המצאים על אתר, ואף כי מובן [ש]עד שיתרגלו וכן מצב הנאמנו והאחריות נזקקים הם להשגחה מיוחדה ולהוראות לעתים תכופות, אבל לאט לאט מתרגלים ומשתפרים בעבודה ובמילא יש לקוות שבעתיד הקרוב יעשו לעזר, והוא בדוגמת מורה מדריך מחנך בר פועל שענינו הוא שהתלמיד יוכל ללמוד בפני עצמו ולא עוד אלא שיהי' טופח ע"מ להטפיח...
