Greetings and blessings,
I received with pleasure your letter of the 21st of Adar. The idea of bringing your personal belongings to your new home before Pesach* (so as not to move during the period of the Omer*) is judicious. As you know, Nissan* is the month of freedom — "in everything, from everything, everything" — delivering from all worries and all obstacles. Before introducing anything into this house, you will place in it a Siddur*, a Chumash*, a Tehillim*, and a Tanya* (see letter no. 3265 on this subject).
With my blessing of Mazel Tov* and for a kosher* and joyous Pesach festival, for you and for the members of your family,
P.S.: You tell me that, for various reasons, you sleep only four or five hours (per night). Setting aside exceptional situations, the needs of the body dictate that this is not enough. A Jew must have a healthy body in order to serve Hashem without worry and with peace of mind.
The Alter Rebbe* explains at the beginning of chapter 7 of the Tanya that one must serve Hashem also through one's body. Consequently, it is necessary that the body be rested and that it contribute to fulfilling the mission of the person — that of building for Hashem a dwelling place in the lower realms.
