Greetings and blessings,
I am responding to your letter from the days of Purim*. Moreover, I am surprised that you do not mention the good resolutions and positive accomplishments of this period, which reveal the joy for the entire month and then for the entire year.
You mention the content of the letter I addressed to you (this refers to letter no. 3280), regarding the conduct one should adopt at a Chassidic gathering*. I specified that I had written on this subject to other Chassidim* as well, and I therefore do not understand your agitation (the recipient of this letter was evidently asking why such a warning was directed at him).
If you are concerned by what is said in the letter, it is certain that you should not be distressed by it. On the other hand, if your conduct in no way corresponds to what is described therein, you should be glad to have been designated as a spiritual guide of the Chassidim, charged with ensuring that they adopt proper conduct during Chassidic gatherings.
May Hashem grant you success, breadth of spirit, and material abundance, so that you may give me good news of everything mentioned in your letter.

במענה על מכתבו מימי הפורים. ולפלא שאינו מזכיר ע"ד החלטות הטובות ופעולות הטובות דימים אלו, שמהם ממשיכים שמחה כל החדש ואח"כ על כל השנה.
ומ"ש אודות תוכן מכתבי אליו בהנהגה בעת התועדות, הרי כתבתי בהנ"ל שהנני כותב לעוד מאנ"ש על דבר זה, ובמילא אינו מובן ממה נתרגש כ"כ. וממ"נ, אם גם אצלו יש מעין הכתוב בהמכתב - הרי בודאי אין להתרגש, ואם אין בהנהגתו לא מיני' ולא מקצתי' - הרי צ"ל שמח שממנים אותו משגיח על אנ"ש להנהגה מתאימה בעת התועדות. והשי"ת יצליחו בהרחבת הדעת והרחבת פרנסה ולבשו"ט אודות כל מה שכותב במכתבו.
