To the young man Aharon (the Rav A. Serebrianski, brother of the recipient of the preceding letter; see letter no. 3127 regarding him),

Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of the 21st of Shevat*. I took note with pleasure of the work you are carrying out within the Yeshivah* Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch* of Melbourne. No doubt, in the future, you will strengthen yourself in this work and expand it to the fullest extent possible (see the preceding letter).

Moreover, one may anticipate that the young men and boys who come to study at the Yeshivah will be able, in the near term, to transmit in turn the teaching they have received. Every effort invested in them will therefore bear fruit in short order, also in those who will be their students. In the end, the good of each individual will thereby be multiplied many times over.

May Hashem grant that the obstacles and veils diminish considerably. Thus, the effort will not be aimed at pushing back the darkness, but will serve primarily to multiply the light. Without a doubt, considerable success will result from this, including in your personal concerns.

שלום וברכה!

במענה על מכתבו מכ"א שבט, נעם לי לקרות בו אודות עבודתו בישיבת אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש אשר במעלבורן, ובודאי על להבא יתחזק בזה וגם יוסיף ככל יכולתו, ובפרט שיש לומר אשר האברכים והבחורים הבאים ללמוד בהישיבה, הרי במשך זמן לא ארוך יהיו בגדר וסוג דטופח על מנת להטפיח, ובמילא כל השתדלות בהם תביא פירות בהמושפעים של האברכים והבחורים לאחר משך זמן קצר, דהיינו שהטוב של אחד יוכפל כו"כ לאחר זמן.

ויה"ר שיתמעטו ההעלמות וההסתרים ביותר וביותר והיגיעה לא תהי' כ"כ בענין של דחיית החשך אלא עיקרה בהקו דריבוי אור, וכל הנ"ל בודאי תביא הצלחה מרובה גם בעניניו הפרטים.
