I greet you and bless you,

You mention your trip here for a few weeks. I do not see the necessity for it. Nevertheless, you tell me that you can cover the major part of the expense, and if so, why not (literally: "from where do we derive that this is so").

However, this trip should not take place before Pesach*, so that you may celebrate this festival here. The Jewish custom is, indeed, to celebrate it with family. This trip was not necessary until now, and it can therefore advantageously be delayed by a few weeks.

You have purchased a house and you intend to move in soon. No doubt you will first place there a Chumash*, a Tehillim*, and a Tanya* (see Letters #1686 and #3374). May Hashem grant that this be at a good and fruitful time. By changing one's place, one changes one's mazal*, for good and for blessing. And Hashem will soon gladden your heart by granting you a child.

... בהנוגע לשאלתו אודות נסיעה לכאן למשך איזה שבועות, הרי אף שאינני רואה הכרחיות בזה, אלא כיון שכפי שכותב הוא דרובא של ההוצאות יש לו מקור לכסותם, הרי מהיכי תיתי, אבל שהנסיעה תהי' לפני הפסח ולחוג כאן חג הפסח, לא נראה לי כיון שמנהג גוברין יהודאין אם רק אפשר לחוג ביחד עם ביתם, וכיון שלא הי' מוכרח בזה עד עתה בטח אין נוגע אם תתאחר הנסיעה בשבועות מספר.

ולקנייתם את הדירה ולהכנסם אלי' בעתיד הקרוב (ובטח יכניסו להדירה לכל לראש, סידור חומש תהלים ותניא), יה"ר מהשי"ת שיהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת ויהי' משנה מקום משנה מזל לטובה ולברכה, וישמח לבכם בזחו"ק בקרוב.
