To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,
Rav Mordechai HaKohen (Rav M. Dubiniski),

I greet you and bless you,

I received with pleasure your undated letter. You inform me that you emphasized at the shul* the necessity of establishing fixed times for Torah* study, and that a first initiative was taken in this direction with the study of laws that are necessary in daily life. Not only will you continue in this direction, but moreover, you will intensify your efforts, in accordance with the directive of our Sages that "one ascends in matters of holiness." May Hashem grant you success.

I was particularly pleased to learn that study of the revealed part of the Torah and of Chassidus* has been established five times a week, in addition to the study of necessary laws. Having put all of this into practice is a great merit for you, whose value is inestimable.

You know the commentary that my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose Hilulah* we celebrate, made on numerous occasions regarding the Mishnah*: "Two people grasp a garment" (at the beginning of Tractate Bava Metzia; see Letter #3109). This is found in the Kuntres Limud Toras HaChassidus*.

You should endeavor to increase the number of participants in this class, and Hashem will grant you success.

No doubt a Chassidic farbrengen* took place on the day of the Hilulah*. May Hashem grant that the inspiration it brought continue throughout the entire year.

נעם לי לקבל מכ' (בלי הוראת זמן הכתיבה), אשר עורר ע"ד קביעות עתים לתורה בבית הכנסת, וכבר ישנה התחלה בזה בלימוד הלכות הצריכות, ובודאי - לא רק שימשוך בזה, אלא גם יוסיף כפסק רז"ל מעלין בקודש, ויה"ר שיהי' בהצלחה. ותוספת נעימות הי' לי במ"ש אודות קביעות לימוד בנגלה ודא"ח ה' פעמים בשבוע, נוסף על הלימוד גם אז בהלכות הצריכות, וגודל זכותו בזה שהביא הדבר לידי פועל - אין לשער. וכבר ידוע בפירוש המשנה דשנים אוחזין בטלית מה ששמענו כ"פ מכ"ק אדמו"ר מו"ח בעל ההילולא ונדפס ג"כ בקונטרס לימוד תורת החסידות. ובודאי ישתדלו בתוספת מספר המשתתפים גם בשיעור זה, והשי"ת יצליחם.

בודאי התועדו ביום ההילולא, ויה"ר שתומשך ההתעוררות על כל השנה כולה.
