Igrot Kodesh · Letter 319 — Preserving Chassidic Manuscripts and the Holy Tongue

To the great Rav, learned Chassid* fearing Hashem, Rav Y.[1],

I greet and bless you,

I confirm hereby having duly received your letter and its contents. Likewise, I received the copy of the letter of the Rebbe[2] regarding the use of the Holy Tongue[3].

I am fully convinced that very shortly you will also fulfill the commitment made at the end of that same letter, and that you will send the remainder of that letter as well as any other document you may find. I thank you in advance for this.

Enclosed you will find the fascicle published on the occasion of 19 Kislev* this year[4]. It seems to me that the Chassidic discourse* of the Rebbe[2] it contains is unpublished. I am the author of the footnotes appearing at the bottom of the page.

It is to this latter Chassidic discourse* that the Rebbe alludes in his letter to Rav Landa.
