Greetings and blessing,

I finally received your letter, redacted at the conclusion of Shabbos Korach, in which you announce to me that you have returned well to Eretz Yisrael and that you were able to verify that all is well there. I am a little surprised that your letter is so laconic, in the description of the encounters that you made in the course of your voyage and of your return to Eretz Yisrael. Doubtless you will complete all that in your next letters.

It would be good to send here the review Machanayim, that you mention in your letter (of which the addressee of this letter is apparently a redactor), as well as its previous publications. It is the same for all that you publish.

You will doubtless seek to meet religious soldiers, in other camps, in addition to your own. You will encourage them and strengthen them in the Jewish Tradition, as you did in your own camp.

Hashem will give you success in all that and you will receive an increased blessing and success, in your personal preoccupations.

These days of the liberation of our leader, my father-in-law, the Rebbe, are propitious. As was explained during the Chassidic gathering of the Shabbos that blessed the month of Tammuz, when one wishes to extract a body from the pit in which it is imprisoned, in this case that of exile, one first liberates the head, then the members of the body, which are attached to it, follow, even if this takes a certain time. You will understand the sense of this image.

In the expectation of your detailed letters, I conclude by addressing you my blessing of success in all these domains,

סו"ס נתקבל מכתבו (כתוב מוצש"ק קרח) בו מודיע מחזירתו שלום לאה"ק ת"ו ואשר מצא שם הכל שלום. ותמיהני קצת על כתבו בקיצור כ"כ ע"ד פגישותיו במשך נסיעתו וחזירתו לאה"ק ת"ו ובטח ימלא במכתביו הבאים.

מהנכון הי' אשר חוברת מחנים שמזכיר במכתבו תושלחנה לכאן גם אותן שהופיעו בעבר, וה"ה בנוגע לשאר ענינים דפוס הנדפסים על ידם.

בטח יחפש הזדמנות להפגש ג"כ עם חיילים דתיים במחנות אחרות נוסף על שלו ולעוררם ולחזק את רוחם רוח ישראל סבא וכמו שעשה במחנו. והשי"ת יצליחו בכל הנ"ל ובמילא ימשיך ג"כ תוספת ברכה והצלחה בעניניו הפרטים.

ומסוגלים ימים אלו דגאולת נשיאנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, וכנדבר בהתועדות דש"ק מברכים חדש תמוז שכשמוציאים קומה שלימה מבור השבי והגלות, הנה תחלה מעלים וגואלים את הראש ובמילא כל האברים הקשורים בו נמשכים אחריו אף ששוהה איזה זמן בינתים, והנמשל מובן.
