Greetings and blessing,

Your letter has been transmitted to me and, as you ask me, I will mention your name and that of the members of your family, near the holy tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us, in order to obtain the satisfaction of your needs, as you write.

You possess a hotel in which numerous people stay, in the summer, being in convalescence or wishing to rest. These have therefore much free time. In consequence, it is doubtless useless to specify to you that these people, just as they make efforts to heal physically, must also make efforts to heal morally, all the more so as, for a Jewish man and a Jewish woman, these two dimensions are linked.

You have, doubtless, in your hotel, Jewish books, in general and especially those that concern daily life, that is, those that enunciate the current halachah, as well as works of Chassidus* and of mussar*.

In the measure of the possible, you will draw the attention of the clients of your hotel to all that. May Hashem accord you success.

נמסר לי מכתבו וכבקשתו אזכירו וב"ב שיחיו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך להם כפי כתבו.

ובטח למותר לעורר אשר כיון שבית מלון לו שבמשך הקיץ עוברים שם כמה וכמה אנשים וכוונתם לשם הבראה ומנוחה ובמילא הרבה זמן פנוי להם, הנה כמו שמשתדלים בהטבת בריאות הנ"ל בגשמיות על אחת כמה וכמה שצריך להשתדל בהטבת בריאות הנ"ל ברוחניות, ובפרט שאצל איש ואשה הישראלים הגשמיות תלוי בהרוחניות,

ובודאי נמצאים בבית מלונו ספרים בכלל וספרים הנוגעים לחיי היום יומים היינו ספרי פסקי דינים והלכות הצריכות ספרי חסידות ומוסר וכו' בפרט, ובטח במדה האפשרית מעוררים שימת לב המתארחים בבית מלונו על כל זה, והשי"ת יצליחו.
