To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,

Greetings and blessing,
I received with pleasure your letter of 28 Sivan, announcing to me that your wife was doing better.
May Hashem grant that, in this month of the liberation of our leader, my father-in-law, the Rebbe, we be, each one of us, liberated from what troubles the quietude and the broadness of the spirit. Indeed, the heart of every Yid* is awake for HaKadosh Baruch Hu*, His Torah, His mitzvos*, and for the redemption, as Midrash Shir HaShirim Rabbah explains, commenting on the verse: "I sleep (in exile), but my heart is awake."
May Hashem accord you success. You tell me, in your letter, that you reinforce your study of Chassidus*. You allude to your own person, but you will also strive that it be the same in the shul, during the public study.
This study will be conducted in the manner of the engraving (it will become one body with the one who consecrates himself to it), of which various texts emphasize the quality. You will consult the Shnei Luchos HaBris on this parshah*, as well as its commentary, in the Likkutei Torah, on our parshah* and on that of Bechukosai.

בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מכ"ח סיון, בו כותב אודות הטבת מצב בריאות זוגתו תחי'.
ויה"ר אשר בחדש גאולה של נשיאנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, הנה נגאל, כאו"א מאתנו, מכל ענינים המבלבלים ממנוחת הנפש והרחבת הדעת, והרי לב כל ישראל ער הוא להקב"ה תורתו ומצותיו ולגאולה, וכמבואר במדרש שה"ש רבה על הפסוק אני ישנה (בגלותא) ולבי ער.
והשי"ת יצליחו, שכמו שכותב במכתבו שמוסיף בלימוד החסידות, שכוונתו בזה על עצמו, הנה ישתדל בכל יכולתו שיתוסף בלימוד זה גם בבית הכנסת, בתלמוד תורה דרבים, ויהי' אופן הלימוד בחקיקה, שמבואר מעלתה בכ"מ, וראה של"ה פרש[ה] זו, וביאורו בלקו"ת בפרשתנו וכן בפ' בחקותי.
