Igrot Kodesh · Letter 2770 — Health

Volume 9 · Letter 151

29 Sivan 5714,
Brooklyn.

Greetings and blessing,

I was satisfied to receive your letter of 29 Iyar, which only reached me today, but perhaps it contains an error in the date.

May Hashem grant that, in the future, you announce to me that your state of health, already good, has further improved.

Indeed, elevation is necessary in all that concerns the domain of Holiness, and this includes also the Jewish body, which is the property of HaKadosh Baruch Hu* (and therefore belongs to the domain of Holiness), as the Rambam says, in his laws of the murderer, chapter 1, paragraph 4.

As you ask me, I will mention your name and that of your wife (near the tomb of the previous Rebbe), so that your state of health improves, that you have good news, in the place where you were until now and in the one to which you are going.

With my blessing,
