Greetings and blessing,
You inform me of your birthday. Now, I am surprised that you tell me nothing of the time that you consecrate to the study of the revealed part of Torah and the teaching of Chassidus*, adding itself to the three well-known studies, which are the obligation of all, were instituted by my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us, and bear on Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya*.
Indeed, these studies concern each one among us and therefore you also. You cannot acquit yourself of your obligation by knowing that another respects them scrupulously.
I have already told you all that several times, and I add that, as one can verify by one's eyes of flesh, on such a manner of acting depends, in our days, material success and a positive establishment.
May Hashem grant that the year that comes bring you success, in all these domains and a good organization, material and spiritual at once.

במענה על הודעתו מיום הולדת שלו. ולפלא שאינו מזכיר דבר מהקביעות עתים שלו ומשיעוריו בתורת הנגלה ותורת החסידות נוסף על שמירת שלשת השיעורים השוים לכל נפש מתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע בחומש תהלים ותניא הידועים, ווארום דאס מיינט מען דאך יעדערערן פון אונז ובמילא גם אותו, ואי אפשר לצאת ידי חובתו במה שאחר לומד ושומר את השיעורים. וכבר כמה פעמים אמרתי לו אודות הנ"ל בהוספה שכפי שרואים גם בעיני בשר הרי בימינו אלה הרי זה נוגע גם בהצלחה בגשמיות ובהסתדרות. ויתן השי"ת ושנה הבאה תהי' שנת הצלחה בכל הנ"ל ובהסתדרות לטוב לפניו בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.
