Greetings and blessing,

You write to me regarding the studies led at the Kfar (Kfar Chabad). I am surprised that you do not mention that of the laws that apply in Eretz Yisrael (in particular, the agricultural laws). I hope that this is uniquely an omission in your letter, but that such study indeed exists. As you know, our Sages emphasize that "the deed is essential and not the study."

You evoke your difficulties in concentrating your thought. One of the solutions, in such a case, is to change the theme of one's study, according to one's taste, as soon as one becomes tired. One must not constrain one's thought to invest itself in what has contributed to fatiguing it.

Moreover, you tell me that your birthday approaches. May Hashem grant that, during long days and good years, which will be good in every sense of the term, you concentrate all your ardor on the Torah and the mitzvos*, which you will also transmit to your environment, on the same basis as the luminary of the Torah, which is Chassidus*.

In your lifetime and in ours, there will be accomplished the promise according to which: "I shall cut off all the horns of the wicked. The horns of the tzaddik* shall be raised" (Tehillim 75:11). Rashi, at this same reference, explains that this formulation alludes to the true and complete redemption. Then, one will efface the memory of Amalek and will raise the horns of the Tzaddik of the world. You will consult, on this subject, the Or HaTorah of the Tzemach Tzedek, in the commentaries of Chanukah, p. 600.

With my blessing, in the formulation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us, that you receive the Torah in a joyous and profound manner,

שכשמתעייפים מחליפים הלימוד ללימוד אחר ג"כ במקום שלבו חפץ ולא לכוף על כח המחשבה להמשיך דוקא בהענין שנתייגע בו.

ולהודעתו מיום הולדתו... הבע"ל, הנה יה"ר מהשי"ת שלאריכות ימים ושנים טובות, טובות עם כל הפירושים, יוסיף אומץ בתורה ובמצותי' ולהחדיר גם בסביבתו התורה והמצוה והמאור שבה היא תורת החסידות ובימיו ובימינו ימולא היעוד וכל קרני רשעים אגדע תרוממנה קרנות צדיק שכפירוש רש"י על אתר מדבר בזה בגאולה האמיתית והשלימה במחיית עמלק ורוממות קרנות צדיקו של עולם, ולהעיר ג"כ מאור התורה לרבנו הצ"צ דרושי חנוכה (ע' תר).

בברכה בנוסח כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע לקבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות.
