Greetings and blessing,

I reply to your telegram, which I have just received, the content of which is particularly surprising.

Recall what had occurred when you were here. We had then evoked the preparations for the wedding. We had said, among other things, that one must include in its budget, in addition to the costs of the orchestra and the caterer, the financing of a book of the Alter Rebbe, founder of Chabad Chassidus*, head of the Chabad chassidim* of all generations.

Then, for various reasons, the idea came to you to delay this financing. And you can note that immediately, strange events occurred, in particular the one that you describe to me. Now, I am surprised that you give it an entirely different interpretation, without even thinking of the one that should, from the outset, have been evident.

May Hashem guide you and lead you on the straight path, the one that will bring happiness, for you and for all the members of your family.

במענה על המברק שנתקבל זה עתה, ותוכנו תמוה במאד... ויתבונן בעצמו כשהי' כאן ונדבר ע"ד הכנות להחתונה בין שאר הדברים הי' ג"כ הענין שביחד עם הוצאות החתונה של כלי זמר ענינים של אכו"ש וכו' יכנס בזה ג"כ הדפסת ספרו של רבנו הזקן מייסד חסידות חב"ד ונשיא כל חסידי חב"ד לדורותיהם, ותיכף כשבא לכת"ר קס"ד לאחר התשלומין וכמה הסברות בזה, הרי רואה שהתחילו ענינים מוזרים וענין הנ"ל בכלל. ולפלא שגם עתה מפרשו בענינים שהם לא בדרי דאונא ואינו רוצה לבארו בענין שהי' צ"ל מושכל ראשון שלו.

והשי"ת יורהו ויוליכו בדרך הישרה והמאושרה בשבילו ובשביל כל ב"ב שיחיו.
