Greetings and blessing,
I received your letter of 9 Iyar, as well as your telegram. You have surely received mine, which gave you my reply, wishing you a prompt healing and awaiting your good news.
I read with dread, in your letter, that you attribute what is happening to you to a rancor on my part, chas veshalom*. It is not in my nature to feel rancor, and may Hashem grant that one also attribute to me all the positive events, material and spiritual, that occur.
May Hashem grant that you be among those who adopt such an attitude.
In the expectation of your good news in all these domains and with my blessing that you receive the Torah in a joyous and profound manner.

נבהלתי לקרות במכתבו אשר תולה הענינים בקפידא ח"ו שלי, כי אין זה מעניני להקפיד כו' וכו' והלואי שיתלו בי כל המאורעות הטובים בגשמיות וברוחניות, והשי"ת יצליחו שגם הוא יהי' בין אלו...
