Greetings and blessing,

I have just received your letter of Thursday of Parshas Behar. I have also received the previous one.

It belongs to the chassidim* to diffuse very widely the Chabad books in our Holy Land, may it be rebuilt and restored. Besides, the demand for them is more important and the prices are relatively low. The success, transcending nature, therefore appears in evidence. In spite of this, one keeps one's arms crossed, and, practically in each letter, one contents oneself with telling me that affairs go badly, that the level of debt maintains itself. Then, one concludes by saying that there is matter for the blessing to reveal itself.

At the present time, there are, in dozens of places of the Holy Land, chassidim*, descendants of chassidim*, or yet youth of the Chabad association, or, at the very least, persons who have been contacted recently. It is clear that, if they find their account in it — for example, if they act as brokers — those could diffuse, or even serve as intermediaries for, the sale of these books and these fascicles to the widest circles.

Nonetheless, one must not raise the prices (in order to remunerate these intermediaries) more than what is necessary. In addition, all this will be done with the energy that is fitting and in an orderly manner. The moral accomplishment in the matter is particularly important, since these books and these fascicles will reach persons who, until now, have never disposed of them and have not even been able to consult them.

You are the merchant of these books, and you must therefore be the first to take part in this realization. For all that, I am convinced that the chassidim*, young and old, will bring you their assistance. For, in every place, diffusion is one of the essential missions of the chassidim*. It is, of course, useless to say more.

Insofar as I do not wish to repeat myself, it is good and judicious to diffuse my words, or even to communicate them, at the next gathering of the Chabad association and of the youth of the Chabad association. For "deliverance is obtained by many counselors."

With my blessing of good health, for you and for all the members of your family, in the expectation of good news in all these domains,

זה עתה נתקבל מכתבו מג' בהר וכן הקודם לו... וכיון שבידי אנ"ש להפיץ ספרי חב"ד בממדים גדולים באה"ק ת"ו והדרישה עליהם רבתה ג"כ והמחיר לפ"ע אינם גדולים וגם בעיני בשר נראית בזה הצלחה למעלה מדרך הטבע הרי יושבין בחיבוק ידים! וכמעט בכל מכתב ומכתב מסתפק בהודעה אשר העסק חלש והחוב במקומו עומד אף שתומ"י מסיים שיש על מה שתחול הברכה.

והרי עתה בעשיריות מקומות באה"ק ת"ו נמצאים אנ"ש או מגזע אנ"ש או גם מצעירי אגו"ח או עכ"פ כאלו שעמהם עומדים בקישור בזמן האחרון ופשיטא שע"י טובת הנאה היינו באופן של סרסרות וכיו"ב היו מפרסמים וגם משמשים ממוצעים למכירת הספרים והקונטרסים לחוגים היותר רחבים ובלבד שלא יעלו המחירים יותר מכפי ההכרח ויעבדו בהנ"ל במרץ הדרוש ובסדר מסודר, והרי יש בזה גם ענין רוחני גדול במאד שיגיעו הספרים והקונט' לכאלו שעד עתה לא היתה מציאות שיגיעו אליהם או שיעיינו בהם.

מובן שכיון שהוא המו"ס צריך לקחת חלק בראש כל עבודה הנ"ל אבל לאידך גיסא מובטחני שאנ"ש הצעירים והזקנים יסייעו בכל זה, והרי הפצה היא אחד מהסניפים העיקרים בעבודת אנ"ש בכל מקום ומקום והאריכות אך למותר. מבלי רצוני לכפול את כל זה הרי טוב וכדאי שיפרסם דברי או גם יציעם באסיפה הקרובה של אגו"ח וצעירי אגו"ח ותשועה ברוב יועץ.

בברכה לבריאות הנכונה לו ולכל ב"ב שיחיו המחכה לבשו"ט בכל הנ"ל.
