To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,
Rav Betzalel (Rav B. Wilshanski, of Australia), emissary of the Sages,
Greetings and blessing,
You ask me in what manner one recites the berachah* (the one to be said by the one who is called up to the Torah), when one must take out a second Sefer Torah* in the course of the reading (because of a problem discovered in the first).
I have not received a particular instruction on this subject. One must therefore hold to the opinion of the latter Sages, in particular that of the Sha'ar Ephraim and of its commentators, which is reproduced in the Sha'ar HaKollel, chapter 5, paragraph 2.
